SVOLT Sixth Battery Day Unveils Multiple Groundbreaking Products
2026-01-29 | Calvin

On January 13, SVOLT's Sixth Battery Day, themed "Hive Beyond, Trust the Future," was held in Changzhou. More than 400 guests, including industry experts, leaders, global partners, suppliers, investors, and mainstream media representatives, gathered to witness SVOLT's latest breakthroughs in the key technologies of power batteries.
Innovation has always been SVOLT's unwavering belief, while safety serves as the foundation of its innovations. During this year’s Battery Day, SVOLT introduced a wide array of products, including high-capacity plug-in hybrid batteries, semi-solid state batteries, Fire-Electric Separation Dragon Scale 3.0 platform, high-capacity HEV batteries, next-generation energy storage large cells, and low-altitude/unmanned scenario battery technologies. These innovations ensure the safety baseline for consumers' growing demands for larger capacity, longer range, faster charging, and more diverse scenarios.
Enhanced Plug-in Hybrid Experience with Pure Electric Performance: World's Largest Capacity Plug-in Hybrid Battery “Fortress 2.0” Released
As large five- and six-seat family vehicles become the new global market trend, user expectations for plug-in hybrid vehicles are changing. Consumers now seek the same power response, quietness, and range as pure electric vehicles without compromising safety for increased capacity.
To address this demand, SVOLT launched the world’s largest capacity 80kWh plug-in hybrid battery pack, Fortress 2.0, enabling D-class plug-in hybrid vehicles to achieve over 400 km of pure electric range.
The Fortress 2.0 uses highly integrated system technology, improving volume utilization and system energy density by 6%. The battery cells feature ultra-fast charging graphite technology, supporting peak 6C fast charging, allowing for a 10%–80% charge in just 10 minutes while maintaining voltage, current, and thermal stability throughout the fast charging process. The structure adopts a pull-extruded composite material design, providing a side-collision extrusion resistance more than twice that of the national standard, with strength close to the vehicle body-level crash standards. Even under three-dimensional compression tests, the battery cells do not catch fire or explode, truly elevating plug-in hybrid safety to the level of pure electric vehicles.
Low-Cost Semi-Solid State Battery: World’s First Solid Electrolyte Membrane Transfer Technology
Currently, safety remains the most critical decision factor for users when choosing new energy vehicles. Although traditional semi-solid state batteries are theoretically safer, the industry has been limited by unstable processes, discontinuous interfaces, and challenges in large-scale mass production.
After more than three years of development, SVOLT has broken through dozens of technical barriers, from materials to systems, from processes to equipment, and has created the world’s first polarity conversion solid electrolyte membrane technology, significantly enhancing safety performance.
The self-developed polarity conversion solid electrolyte membrane improves ion conductivity by more than 10%, reduces thermal shrinkage by 20% at 200°C, and significantly enhances high-temperature safety. The original thixotropic binder ensures precise transfer of the solid-state coating to the positive electrode, achieving complete interface coverage.
Using gradient hot-pressing molding technology, the solid-state coating tightly adheres to the electrode and is 100% compatible with existing liquid production lines, enabling mass production without the need for new production lines. The self-heating temperature of the battery cells increases by 8°C, the thermal runaway initiation temperature rises by 5°C, the overall thermal safety buffer time increases by 10%, and the probability of thermal runaway decreases by 25%. The solid-state coating also cuts off the micro-short circuit path between the positive and negative electrodes, reducing market-end pressure difference failure rates by 18.5%, effectively preventing range issues caused by pressure differences.
Battery Safety Ceiling: Dragon Scale 3.0 Achieves Optimal Fire-Electric Separation
As battery system integration increases, thermal runaway has become one of the primary safety concerns for users. The development of square batteries with CTC/CTB integration has long faced challenges between structural integration and controlling thermal runaway.
SVOLT's Dragon Scale 3.0 introduces fire-electric separation and CTC/CTB compatibility in a square battery system for the first time, creating dual safety from system to structure.
In the high-integration trend of square battery cells with CTC/CTB designs, SVOLT introduced Dragon Scale 3.0 based on square cells, achieving fire-electric separation and CTC/CTB compatibility. The structure uses ear misalignment technology and full-package spatial optimization to separate the battery poles from the venting gas channel, reducing system-level heat diffusion risks. Under the same package space, cell capacity is increased by 7%-10%.
The package bottom features a reserved thermal failure venting channel, which shares the space with the bottom ball strike area, ensuring critical thermal buffer capacity for high-integration systems. With the support of semi-solid state technology and Dragon Scale 3.0, SVOLT released two products: an 86kWh plug-in hybrid battery and a 115kWh pure electric battery, both offering a 10% capacity increase, 50% improved heat exchange, and 6C peak charging in just 10 minutes, with high-temperature thermal runaway prevention.
Next-Generation Large Cells Released Fully Committed to Energy Storage Development
In the energy storage sector, SVOLT unveiled a large-capacity laminated system for next-generation standard products, launching the world’s first 588Ah laminated cell. The design meets the dual needs of high safety and fast current flow for new energy storage applications, while the 866Ah version further covers high-capacity scenarios.
The system solutions based on different cell specifications enable layouts ranging from 6.26MWh to 6.9MWh, adapting to a wider range of energy storage applications.
With Dragon Scale’s high-safety technology, the Dragon Scale S energy storage system with the 866Ah cell achieves a 10% increase in capacity, a 5% reduction in costs, and a 25% reduction in the pack, with improved PCS matching.
SVOLT also launched the 684Ah fire-electric separation cell and the 661Ah lithium supplementation long-cycle version, laying the foundation for the rapid iteration of next-generation energy storage products.
Seizing New Market Opportunities Expanding New Scenarios through Technological Innovation
In recent years, as urban logistics and industrial logistics accelerate, the traditional transportation system is facing higher frequency, lower costs, and all-weather operational requirements, driving the rise of unmanned logistics and low-altitude economies as the next emerging market for power batteries.
For the unmanned logistics vehicle market, SVOLT launched a 10-50kWh series of battery products that offer full-temperature range operation and a 5-year, 200,000-km ultra-long warranty, meeting the needs of industrial logistics and urban delivery in various scenarios within 10 km per side.
In the low-altitude economy, SVOLT released two semi-solid state battery products that support continuous 5C and peak 8C discharge, while meeting DO-311A aviation safety standards, providing a more efficient and safer power solution for future low-altitude aircraft.
From the world’s largest capacity plug-in hybrid battery to the membrane transfer semi-solid state system, from the Dragon Scale 3.0 fire-electric separation platform to system-level innovations in HEV, energy storage, unmanned delivery, and low-altitude economy, SVOLT is constructing a safety potential triangle that covers multiple scenarios and systems.
Looking ahead, SVOLT will continue to focus on core consumer demands for safety, fast charging, range, and full-scenario reliability, using inherent safety technologies as the foundation and systematic innovation as the driving force. SVOLT will continuously release products and solutions for next-generation transportation and energy systems, driving the global new energy industry toward a higher-quality development phase.
