EVE Successfully Rolls Out Two All-Solid-State Batteries

March 17, 2026 – The launch ceremony for EVE's "Chip Breakthrough, Solid Future" Longquan No. 3 and Longquan No. 4 all-solid-state batteries was successfully held at the solid-state battery mass production base in Chengdu Economic Development Zone. The simultaneous roll-out of these two new products marks a significant breakthrough in the company's R&D and commercialization of all-solid-state battery technology. It officially covers two core application areas: consumer electronics and power applications.

The Longquan No. 3 and Longquan No. 4 batteries, which rolled off the production line this time, rely on innovative material systems and optimized structural designs. They focus on overcoming the industry bottleneck of low-pressure operation for all-solid-state batteries, significantly reducing the difficulty of packaging and system integration. This development paves the way for solid-state batteries to transition from special scenarios to large-scale civilian applications.

Longquan No. 3 (Consumer-Level All-Solid-State Battery)

  • Application Scenarios: Consumer electronics, smart wearables, drones, portable medical devices, humanoid robots, etc.
  • Key Parameters: Operating pressure ≤ 2MPa
  • Technical Highlights: Achieves stable operation at low pressure, eliminating the limitations of high-pressure packaging, and is suitable for lightweight and miniaturized designs of consumer electronics. It features a higher volumetric energy density, improving device battery life and space utilization.

Longquan No. 4 (Power-Level All-Solid-State Battery)

  • Application Scenarios: New energy vehicles, large-scale energy storage, low-altitude economy, high-end equipment, etc.
  • Key Parameters: Cell capacity: 60Ah, operating pressure ≤ 5MPa
  • Technical Highlights: Mass production of large-capacity power cells, stable cycling at low pressure, and initial practical potential for vehicle integration. It offers a mature solution for the next generation of high safety, long-lasting power batteries.

All-solid-state batteries, which replace traditional liquid electrolytes with solid-state electrolytes, outperform in terms of safety, energy density, cycle life, and low-temperature performance, making them the mainstream direction for next-generation power batteries. Previously, the industry faced issues such as high-pressure dependence, large interfacial impedance, and high difficulty in mass production.

EVE has broken through the low-pressure operational bottleneck and has achieved manufacturing capabilities for all-solid-state battery cells ranging from 10Ah to 60Ah. This breakthrough has cleared the way for mass production processes, bridging the gap between laboratory development and mass production lines. The company has further enhanced its full-scenario solid-state battery layout, covering "consumer + power + energy storage" applications.
