From October 4th to 9th, the Busworld Europe exhibition was grandly held at the Brussels Expo Center in Belgium. CALB showcased a wide range of commercial products and application solutions, fully demonstrating its multi-dimensional technological leadership as a battery expert.

Main Technological Highlights

Ternary/LFP Large Cylindrical Cells: CALB unveiled multiple standard cell formats including 4680, 4695, and 46131, offering flexible compatibility with different system voltage platforms and energy requirements for commercial vehicles. This series supports 6C fast charging with a maximum energy density of up to 305Wh/kg, achieving both high power and high energy performance.

One-Stop LMFP Cell Products: Built upon breakthroughs in LMFP material systems and innovative OS platform structures, CALB’s new generation of LMFP cells maintains excellent cycle life and fast-charging capability while precisely meeting the low-temperature operation and low-floor design needs of buses and trucks. The products achieve simultaneous improvements in safety and energy density, while the CIR integration technology significantly enhances space utilization, effectively boosting overall vehicle range.

CIR Standard PACK Platform: Redefining Maintenance with Standardized Design CALB’s new generation of standard PACK platforms adopts a minimalistic CIR structure design, reducing components by 20%, simplifying assembly processes by 25%, and improving grouping efficiency by 20%. Through lightweight design, the system energy density reaches 170Wh/kg, allowing more passenger and luggage space for buses and creating greater operational value. This standardized platform offers flexible configurations ranging from 450kWh to 1000kWh, suitable for various applications such as city buses, tourist coaches, and rural passenger vehicles. Featuring a high-strength chassis tested for ball impact and immersion, it meets IP68 protection standards and integrates an efficient thermal management system, enabling reliable operation in extreme conditions from -35°C to 65°C, including high-altitude, cold, and hot environments.

With years of deep engagement in the commercial vehicle sector, CALB’s products now serve over 100 cities worldwide. The three major products showcased at this exhibition form a closed-loop technological ecosystem of “super-fast charging – material upgrades – platform adaptability.” These innovations not only align with Europe’s call for “zero-carbon transportation” but also provide differentiated solutions that set a new paradigm for global commercial vehicle electrification.
