Sunwoda Showcases Full Matrix of Energy Storage Products at 2026 International Digital Energy Expo

From September 15 to 17, the 2026 International Digital Energy Expo (IDEE 2026), themed "Foresee Energy, Intelligently Transform the Future," was grandly held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). This year's expo focused on "AI+" energy application scenarios, comprehensively presenting new equipment, new solutions, and new business forms in the two-way empowerment of artificial intelligence and energy.

▍ Energy Storage Explosion: Sunwoda's Ten Years of Deep Cultivation in the Track

According to ICC Xinluo Information data, global energy storage battery shipments reached 507.8GWh in the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 97.5%. Domestic independent energy storage projects have been implemented in a concentrated manner, while overseas large-scale storage and household storage markets have simultaneously set off a rush to install. Coupled with the concentrated implementation of subsidy policies in Australia, the Middle East, and Europe, multiple factors have resonated to bring about explosive growth in the global energy storage market.

In this round of explosion, the first-mover advantage of those who positioned themselves early is becoming apparent. As early as 2016, Sunwoda entered the energy storage track, devoting itself to deepening and perfecting its technology. Around application scenarios such as grid energy storage, large-scale energy storage, home energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, data center energy storage, and mobile/off-grid energy, it provides integrated energy storage system solutions and promotes the coordinated upgrading of energy storage cells, system integration, and AC/DC side integration testing.

▍ Full Matrix of Energy Storage Cells: A Full-Spectrum Layout from 72Ah to 684Ah

In the field of energy storage cells, Sunwoda has built a complete product matrix covering 72Ah, 85Ah, 102Ah, 280Ah, 314Ah, 588Ah, and 684Ah, meeting the diverse application needs of the power generation side, grid side, and user side.

In the field of large-capacity energy storage cells, the self-developed 684Ah stacked cell had accumulated mass production of more than 2 million units by the end of April 2026, and the 588Ah wound cell was officially put into production at the Deyang base. Both products have entered the stage of batch supply. The 684Ah cell adopts advanced stacking technology, with volumetric energy density exceeding 440+Wh/L. It innovatively integrates a "thermoelectric separation" design and a three-dimensional heat dissipation structure, fundamentally optimizing the thermal management path and greatly improving the safety and long-term reliability of system operation. The 588Ah wound cell is positioned as a platform-type product, adopting gradient pole piece technology to achieve one-time coating. While the coating weight is increased by 20%, the electrical performance remains unchanged, and the energy density reaches 417Wh/L, an increase of 5.6% compared with the previous generation 314Ah product.

▍ Full-Scenario Energy Storage Systems: Complete Solutions from Cells to Systems

At the system integration level, based on its self-developed 588Ah large-capacity cell, Sunwoda launched the NoahX 3.0 series liquid-cooled energy storage systems, including a 6.26MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, a 3.13MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, and a 3.13MWh AC/DC integrated system, corresponding respectively to differentiated application scenarios such as large-scale power stations, overseas transportation, and rapid deployment. Taking the 6.26MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system as an example, compared with the previous generation 5MWh product, its system energy density is increased by 24.8%, and the number of components is reduced by 40%. Through the design concept of "fewer cabins and simplified wiring," it effectively reduces system complexity and BOP costs.

With the explosive growth of backup power demand for global AI data centers, Sunwoda's AIDC energy storage order scale has achieved significant growth. The company has built a fully self-developed product matrix centered on high-rate lithium batteries and an 800V high-voltage platform. It has currently been commercialized in multiple AIDC projects at home and abroad, with stable operation and outstanding load regulation effects, earning high recognition from industry customers.

From cells to systems, Sunwoda uses full-link innovation to drive energy storage batteries toward a new stage of higher density, lower cost, greater intelligence, and higher safety. At present, Sunwoda's energy storage projects have spread across more than 100 countries and regions, and it has continuously been selected for the BloombergNEF BNEF Tier 1 global first-tier energy storage manufacturer list.

With the deep integration of digital technology and the energy industry, the energy storage industry will usher in broader development space. Sunwoda will continue to be driven by technological innovation, join hands with global partners, jointly promote the transformation of the energy structure, and support low-carbon sustainable development.
