HiTHIUM Unveils Its Sodium Energy Storage System for the First Time at All-Energy Australia 2025

On October 29–30, All Energy Australia 2025 was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As a global leader in energy storage solutions, HiTHIUM showcased its sodium-ion energy storage system, ∞Power N2.28MWh 1h, for the first time, alongside the ∞Power 6.25MWh long-duration storage system and the world’s first long-duration battery, ∞Cell 1175Ah, demonstrating its latest technological achievements in all-scenario applications, safety, and operational efficiency.

Australia's renewable energy capacity has been growing steadily, with wind and solar increasingly forming the power mix. However, price volatility and limited peaking capacity remain challenges. Energy storage is now essential for grid stability and maximizing renewable utilization. HiTHIUM leverages its advanced technology and project experience to deliver safe, flexible, and efficient storage solutions for Australia's energy transition.

The ∞Power N2.28MWh 1h sodium-ion system is designed for instant peak-load response, using HiTHIUM's proprietary ∞Cell N162Ah with 20,000-cycle life and wide temperature performance, capable of responding to millisecond-level power fluctuations for AI data centers, industrial load management, and grid ancillary services.

HiTHIUM also highlighted the ∞Power 6.25MWh 4h long-duration storage system, featuring high-energy-density batteries and a highly integrated design. With high efficiency, safety, rapid deployment, and intelligent operation, it is well-suited to Australia's 2–8 hour storage market needs and can be applied to renewable integration, peak shaving, and frequency regulation.

At the conference zone, Jay Che, Director of Application Engineering, discussed the value and flexibility of standardized storage platforms for multi-duration systems. Michael Rush, Sr. Director of Sales ANZ, shared insights on local services, safety validation, and Li-Na hybrid solutions for AI data center applications.
