LMX Technology Accelerates the New Energy Revolution for Heavy-Duty Trucks

Addressing the two core pain points of electric heavy-duty trucks—insufficient range and poor low-temperature performance—EVE's LMX technology ushers in a new era of long-range, all-weather, and long-life solutions.

  • LMX products achieve an energy density of 205Wh/kg, significantly surpassing the current mainstream LFP systems, enabling electric heavy-duty trucks to achieve a range of over 500 kilometers, completely breaking the application barriers in medium- and long-haul logistics.
  • For cold-region applications, LMX technology successfully extends the battery's low-temperature operating window to -20°C. In a lithium battery the size of a fingernail, they achieve a volumetric energy density of 390Wh/L and a volumetric power density of 560W/L, with millisecond response times, ensuring precise and reliable glucose measurements.

The three critical requirements—"compact," "consistent," and "safe"—drive medical devices from "treatment intervention" to "preventive, unobtrusive monitoring."

The AI era demands dense energy, making gravimetric and volumetric energy density key industry metrics.

For gravimetric energy density:

  • Lithium-metal battery systems achieve 352Wh/kg at 0.2C discharge, supporting 4C continuous and 7C pulse discharge with power density exceeding 1000W/kg—a 40% improvement over traditional 250Wh/kg systems, perfectly meeting the extreme needs of low-altitude UAVs.
  • Cylindrical batteries developed with nano silicon-based materials achieve 320Wh/kg. Combined with intrinsic safety design, redundant systems, and emergency escape mechanisms, they ensure user safety. Innovative smart immersion cooling technology further enhances pack efficiency to 78%, reducing weight by 20% and increasing range by 30%.

As a flagship of high-volumetric-density energy, EVE's all-solid-state pouch cells operate from -20°C to 60°C and withstand 20MPa pressure. They deliver 2,000+ cycles at 45°C@1C, >93% capacity recovery after 28 days at 60°C (matching liquid electrolytes), 8C discharge, and pass crush and 200°C thermal tests.

EVE plans to achieve production breakthroughs by 2026, launching all-solid-state battery 1.0 with 350Wh/kg and 800Wh/L, followed by 1000Wh/L+ all-solid-state battery 2.0 in 2028.

Lithium Battery Recycling Network: A Good Home for Every Battery

To address structural challenges, lagging recycling systems, and price inversions in lithium battery recycling, EVE launched a global recycling platform.
