CALB Makes a Strong Appearance at IAA with Its Full Range of Commercial Scenario Solutions

Recently, IAA Transportation 2026 was held in Germany. CALB appeared with its "Reaching Far" full-scenario commercial product solutions, demonstrating internationally leading product competitiveness to global customers and partners, and showcasing its full-scenario "AI + Energy" ecosystem solutions, which attracted the attention of the global industry.

The full commercial "Reaching Far" product matrix, built on advanced battery technology, delivers core advantages such as high safety, fast charging, long cycle life, and wide temperature range, fully covering the entire commercial vehicle lineup including vans, light trucks, buses, heavy trucks, and construction machinery. Through standardized products and systematic flexible customization, it creates a full-ecosystem solution from cells and battery systems to vehicle applications, helping vehicles achieve outstanding performance.

The fourth-generation laminated platform GL series products, unveiled for the first time at the exhibition, meet the compliance requirements of the EU's new battery regulation. The GL3 adopts a bottom-mounted horizontal layout. Its laminated structure makes the battery thinner and flatter, allowing it to be embedded under the chassis without encroaching on the cargo box or cab, making it especially suitable for European urban delivery and narrow, long chassis. The GL6 is the flagship high-capacity product, arranged for rear-mounted or side-mounted installation, specifically designed for long-distance heavy truck traction, construction machinery, and dump truck scenarios. It solves the problem of reduced payload and lowers the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the vehicle throughout its full lifecycle.

Currently, CALB is accelerating its localized layout in Europe, and the construction of its Portugal plant is progressing steadily. In terms of commercial vehicle business, in 2026 it ranked among the global TOP 2 on a monthly basis (SNE Research), with a year-on-year growth of 139%, the fastest growth rate in the world. Commercial vehicles equipped with CALB batteries have traveled a maximum of more than 700,000 kilometers, and heavy trucks more than 350,000 kilometers, supporting approximately 150,000 vehicles and covering more than 140 vehicle model brands and more than 400 cities.
