CALB Releases 588Ah & 684Ah Energy Storage Cells and 10–30 ft Energy Storage Systems

On November 13, CALB held its 2025 Global Partner Conference themed “Building an AI Ecosystem Together, Creating an Energy Civilization,” where it launched the new “Zhijiu Series” energy storage products.

The “Zhijiu Series Cells” include two energy storage cell models—588Ah and 684Ah. Built with thermal-electric separation and dual-insulation technology for enhanced safety, the cells use full-lifecycle lithium replenishment to achieve zero degradation for three years and over 15,000 cycles. Their energy density reaches 450Wh/L.

The “Zhijiu Series Energy Storage Systems” include a standard 20 ft 6.25MWh system and a long-duration energy storage platform. The long-duration lineup offers three capacity options: a compact 10 ft 3.45MWh system, a 20 ft 6.9MWh system, and a 30 ft 12.5MWh system, providing comprehensive adaptability for various deployment needs.

All systems adopt a highly integrated design that reduces components by 30% compared with traditional products, lowers system failure rates by 20%, and cuts LCOS (Levelized Cost of Storage) by 5.8% compared with the previous generation. With higher efficiency delivering greater returns and a lifespan of over 20 years enabling lifecycle alignment with solar, the systems also reduce replacement costs.

Currently, the 6.25MWh standard energy storage system has passed GB, IEC, and UL certifications and has entered mass-delivery stage.
