The BMS battery system is mainly designed for 4–15 series ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate batteries, and is primarily applied in consumer electronics, light transportation equipment, and small industrial/commercial devices.
The system not only enables real-time monitoring and collection of battery status parameters (including the voltage of individual cells, pack terminal voltage, battery temperature, SOC & SOH, etc.), but also performs necessary analysis and calculations on these parameters to derive additional system evaluation metrics. Based on specific protection and control strategies, it ensures effective management of the battery and guarantees safe operation. At the same time, it provides cell balancing functionality, maximizing the consistency of individual cells during use, slowing down battery degradation, and reducing the rate of range loss.
In addition, the BMS undertakes the compliance functions required by the new national standards, including data recording and traceability. By storing operating states, fault information, and safety event logs, it provides standardized data support for battery type certification, production consistency verification, and after-sales quality traceability. As such, the BMS becomes a critical technological bridge between the battery itself and the requirements of the new national standards.
